Acai oil: Acai berries are packed with antibacterial, anti-inflammatory, and antioxidant properties that work wonders in soothing irritation and redness. This wax is ideal for clients with sensitive skin. Acai berry oil brings a whole new dimension to our wax line.
1. Heat wax to 135°F-140°F using a thermometer.
2. Test temperature on your forearm to ensure it's not too hot.
3. Apply a thin, non-runny layer in the direction of hair growth after cleansing with Clean Sweep.
4. Avoid excessive rubbing to prevent pressing wax into the skin, causing lifting or bruising.
5. Remove wax in 1" to 1 1/2" wide sections against hair growth using non-woven strips.
Tip: Do not place the entire wax strip on the skin with wax. This is how you break hair. Removing wax in smaller sections allows for an even pull with equal tension. You simply cannot get this pulling off an entire strip. Be sure to remove wax sections in a quick motion while holding the skin taut with your other hand.
Finish your waxing service by applying No Trauma Momma to calm and soothe skin and reduce redness. For skin prone to antihistamine reactions, apply Just Calm Down.
Caution: do not use on varicose veins, acne, moles, irritated skin, sunburned skin, or skin treated with retin-A, steroids, or alpha hydroxy products
