I was wary to reorder this cleanser that I've been using for over 6 years when I saw how much the quantity of each item in the kit changed. I welcomed the new packaging, but I was not expecting such a difference in the product. It is definitely heavier bodied, it smells different, and lathers differently. I still have yet to compare the ingredients to the original packaging, but I am even more wary to reorder the mud mask and moisturizer as well now. It is still a solid mild cleanser, but I can tell the formula has changed, and I'm just being honest that I don't know if it is still the product that it has been for so many years. I love this company and many of the products, so I hope they remain as effective as they've always been.

We added microcrystalline, which makes hard waxes “hard.” This added ingredient makes this the perfect blended wax for sensitive, compromised skin and for those who prefer cream wax on delicate areas. Our cream wax has the consistency of a thin custard; it spreads smoothly and is never sticky.
With fewer ingredients and no added fillers, your clients will have fewer reactions, irritation, or discomfort and will leave with smooth, soft skin.
Microcrystalline Wax: This ingredient is what makes hard waxes “hard" making this the perfect blended wax for sensitive, compromised skin and for those who prefer cream wax on delicate areas.
Cream Wax is the most moisturizing and gentle on the skin of the soft waxes. Its consistency is that of a thin custard. It should not be runny, but instead, coat your stick as a custard would, but not as thick as hard wax.
- It can be applied either very thin or on the thicker side, whichever you prefer. I like it on the thicker side to ensure I get all the hair in one pull.
- Apply the wax with your wood applicator using the proper angle and pressure. You must get the wax to the base of the hair and to the skin to avoid breaking hair.
- Wax Removal: After applying the wax to a body area, use a wax strip for removal.
- Optimal Pull Width: Maintain pulls that are the same width as your applicator stick to prevent hair breakage and minimize client discomfort.
- Directional Application: Apply the wax in the direction of hair growth.
- Efficient Removal Technique: Remove the strip in the opposite direction and pull parallel to the skin for a quick and efficient pull.
If you choose to do face and Brazilian waxing with a soft wax, I highly recommend the cream wax. The ideal temperature for our low-temperature wax is 135-140 degrees fahrenheit.
